Set in the heart of the Vale do Lobo valley (and only a 20 minute transfer from Faro airport),  this stretch of the Algarve coastline is well known for its unspoilt natural beauty, pine forests and fabulous beaches. The four star Ria Park Garden Hotel is part of a collection of attractive whitewashed buildings within the Vale do Garrao villa complex set in lush landscaped gardens.

 

The accommodation within the Ria Park Garden Hotel is made up of spacious doubles/twins or family rooms.  The family rooms have a separate children's bedroom or alternatively book into the new, sizeable "Garden villas" which can comfortably accommodate two adults and a child or infant and all have balconies or terraces. All accommodation is air conditioned.

  

We offer half board with breakfast and dinner in the terraced restaurant overlooking the swimming pool. The main hotel bar and terrace is off the lobby and there is a poolside bar for drinks and snacks throughout the day. The stunning sandy beach which stretches for miles in either direction is a short shuttle ride from the hotel and there is a reserved area on the beach with sunbeds, sunshades and towels provided. There are a number of great little restaurants and bars along the stretch of beach serving drinks, snacks, light lunches of fresh grilled fish and ice creams!

 

The Childcare centre is home to a large air-conditioned crèche as well as the junior clubhouse.  In addition there is a large gated playground which is a children's haven.  There are two hard tennis courts with our very own coach providing group and private tuition.  

 

Recently added is the new spa facility with 11 treatment rooms, sauna and steam room. On offer are an extensive range of beauty treatments and massage, and in addition there is a fully equipped gym and heated indoor pool.

  

Right on the hotel's doorstep are 6 championship golf courses, a golf driving range, an aquatic park, horse riding and watersports. 

 

For those looking to venture away from the resort to sample local life, there are shops, bars and some exclusive restaurants the Vale do Lobo 'Praca' with its great nightlife.

 

There are a host of activities on offer right on the hotel's doorstep including 6 championship golf courses, golf driving range, go kart track, aquatic park, horse riding and watersports.

 

Ria Park has  two Hard tennis courts available at no extra charge for your enjoyment. Racquets and balls are also available for your use.  We have our own resident tennis coach who runs a programme of LTA group coaching sessions or private tuition should you prefer.  During the week there is a relaxed mixed doubles tournament and social tennis on most evenings.

Private Tuition: 1 x 45mins lesson for 1-2 people from £25

 

As well as our tennis coach, we have a a mountain bike professional waiting to take you on a guided tour of the local area, coastline and the Vale Do Lobo Valley.  We provide Specialized Hardrock bikes and helmets.  Guided tours and mountain bike hire are available at a small extra charge.

 

A couple of minutes walk from the main hotel brings you to  the childcare centre with an air-conditioned crèche and kids clubs. We have childcare from 1 - 17 years on offer at Ria Park Garden Hotel

 

Our toddler club has lots of room for indoor and outdoor play and plenty of stimulating toys and games. We aim to maintain a ratio of one nanny to every four children.

Family holidays are great, but older kids somethimes want to enjoy some independence, so for guests between 14 and 17 years of age we run the Indy Club. It's a club where teenagers can meet fellow guests of their own age and together enjoy a full programme of activities.

NB The Indy Club runs during the summer school holiday period and October half term.

Free Evening Creche (4mths - 5 year olds)

We run a free evening creche service at Ria Park from 7:30 - 11:30pm, enabling parents to relax over dinner  whilst we look after your children. Alternatively babysitting can be arranged on request but is subject to availability.

 

Free Evening Entertainment Programme (6 - 17 year olds)

For children aged 6 to 17 years, we will be running a fully supervised evening entertainment programme until 10.30pm. We ask that you sign children in and out if they wish to join in.
