The chalethotel Schweizerhof offers the best of both worlds - a peaceful, secluded location but within walking distance of the lively town of St Anton with the slopes and ski school just a short shuttle bus ride away.

Situated in the quiet hamlet of Nasserein, against a backdrop of pine forests, this chalethotel is smart and extremely comfortable. Decorated in Tyrolean style, with wood paneling, bright colours and big windows, the Schweizerhof is extremely welcoming. The open plan dining room is particularly impressive and spacious with magnificent views over the village and up the mountains. The bar is inviting too, opening on to a cosy lounge.

Bedrooms are prettily furnished with wooden bed frames and thoughtful attention to detail. They are all ensuite, most are roomy and many can take an extra child's bed. For families with younger children a number of rooms are interconnecting.  Single rooms are available.

For the ultimate relax our Viva health & beauty salon has a sauna, steam room and tranquil treatment rooms for massage, body wraps and facials.  After a day on the slopes, nothing beats a massage to soothe aching limbs. If you prefer something a little more luxurious, our aromatherapy massages and body wraps are extremely decadent.

The Schweizerhof is situated in a quiet location just out of town, but only a 10 minute walk from the town centre.  So its the best of both worlds if you are looking for some quiet time but a spot of après ski too. A trip to St Anton without visiting the Mooserwirt Bar for an après ski drink would be a pity.  The Bar gets into full swing at 4:30pm with drinking and dancing to live music into the late afternoon sunshine.  If you still have some energy left after dinner, then Scotty's and Bar Cuba's doors are open till late

There are a total 41 rooms comprising of:

Single - 1 single bed with en-suite bathroom.
Austrian twin - Austrian twin (double bed base with 2 single mattresses) with en-suite bathroom.
Twin - 2 single beds with en-suite bathroom.
Double -  double bed with en-suite bathroom.
Mini apartment  - Austrian twin room and interconnecting double room with en-suite bathroom.

Most rooms are Austrian twins (double bed base with 2 single mattresses). Some twin rooms can take an extra bed and/or cot.

Ski hosting
Ski hosting is included in your holiday cost and our dedicated ski hosts will be delighted to show you round the mountain on two days of the week.  Groups are split into 3 levels of ability and speed, and you can choose to join the group for half of the day or the whole day.  Our hosts know the area like experts and will take you to the best snow conditions, the shortest lift queues and the best lunch stops.

The first hosting day (depending on weather conditions) will take you skiing in the St Anton area and the second day to the delightful villages and ski area of Lech or Zurs. Transport is provided at a small charge to Lech/Zurs, but the day out is well worth it with over 260kms of well tended pistes served by 85 lifts. The Arlberg lift pass covers your day's skiing in Lech & Zurs.

Ski hosting is not suitable for beginners. Our hosts are not instructors or mountain guides, so if you are a beginner or looking to explore off-piste then we will be happy to arrange lessons or off piste guiding for you with the local ski school.

Childcare
This large and roomy chalethotel is perfect for families.  The spacious and bright creche situated at ground floor level is fully equipped and stocked with plenty of toys and games.  Staffed by our superb qualified English speaking nannies, the creche is open from 9.00am through to 5:30pm every day with supervised lunch and high tea included.

We offer a children's drop off and pick up ski school service for those children booked into our childcare and nominated ski school, including lunch back at the chalethotel.  If your child is booked into our childcare but with an alternative ski school, and their lesson times and pick up point coincide with our recommended ski school, then we are happy to drop off and pick up children on your behalf. 

Baby Club (4 to 11 months)
Your keyworker nanny will adopt your routine for all feeds and naps alongside fun play throughout the day. Lunch and High Tea included. Cost @ £285 per week

Toddler Club (1 to 2 years)
Where possible we try to make sure your child has the same nanny throughout the week.  We will adopt your daily routine of sleeps and feeds and entertain children with a balanced programme of stimulating play. Supervised lunch and High Tea are included. Cost @ £285 per week

Mini Club (3 to 5 years)
Fun, fun, fun is the name of the game in the Mini Club.  Outdoor play includes sledging and snowman building, and indoors we face paint and play games.   Supervised Lunch and High Tea are included. Cost @ £180 per week / £155 per week when child is booked into ski school

Kidz Club (6 to 12 years)
It's all about action and having fun in the Kidz Club. If your children are booked into morning or afternoon ski lessons, and booked into the Kidz Club then our nannies will drop off and collect from ski school.  Supervised lunch and high tea are included.   Please note Kids Club runs from 9am to 6.30pm Monday-Friday and until 1pm on Saturday. Cost @ £155 per week

The hotel crèche is fully equipped with all essentials such as cots, potties, bottle sterilisers and fridge. There is also a 24 hour kitchen facility for any late night feeds.

Our evening drop in crèche is open from 7:30 - 11.00pm allowing you to relax over dinner whilst we look after the children.

Babysitting is available at an extra charge but subject to availability.
