South facing and situated in a superb position at the foot of the slopes with an unimpeded view over the surrounding mountains, the chalethotel Berangere is about comfort, space and light.

Most bedrooms are large and well furnished, with good-sized bathrooms and sun trap balconies.  All bedrooms have T.v.'s with English channels to view. The living areas are perfect for families and couples alike, with quiet and inviting seating areas around the fire or enjoy a drink in the bar lounge before or after dinner.

The restaurant is smart and stylish, offering plenty of space for quiet corners or large groups. Whatever your choice, linger over your meal and savour the atmosphere.  Breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner with complimentary wine is included in your holiday price.

Relaxing at the chalethotel is extremely easy with its sauna and heated indoor swimming pool at lower ground level.

On the same level there is our Viva Health and Beauty Salon offering a full menu of massage and beauty treatments - just what is needed after a hard day's skiing.

The Berangere is not just suited to families, but a popular chalethotel for couples and groups of friends.  The facilities, namely the swimming pool and sauna, the large bar area and fabulous dining room are all part of the appeal.  

The resort of Les Deux Alpes is brimming with shops, bars and restaurants jostling for attention. To name just a few of the 26 bars and 2 nightclubs - there is a live music at Smithy's Bar most nights, aprés ski at The Pano Bar or Smokey Joe's is great fun and the Windsor Pub serves over 100 different types of beer.

There is a mix of restaurants, from those serving local specialities, pizzerias, Bistro's & Grills.  On Thursday nights, the chalethotel kitchen is closed for staff night off, and our hotel staff will be happy to make a reservation for you at the restaurant of your choice.

Accommodation
There are a total of 63 rooms comprising:

Single/bunk - 1 single bed with pull down bunk (no W.C). Sleeps 1 adult or 2 children.
Double/single - 1 small double bed.
Double - 1 double bed (some double rooms can take an extra bed or cot).
Double & bunk - Double room with en-suite bathroom interconnecting with a bunk room. Bunk room has en-suite shower room, but no WC.
Twin - Twin beds, (some twin rooms can take an extra bed or cot). Some twins can interconnect to doubles.
Interconnecting - Either 2 twins or 1 twin & 1 double interconnecting. Can take extra bed and cot.
Quad - Double bed plus single bed in separate room. Takes extra bed or cot. (Please note only the double room has an external entrance door).
Suite - 2 rooms, a double room, and the second has pull down double & single sofa bed. Suitable for 2 adults, 2 children & infant.

Ski Hosting
From the moment you arrive at the airport, our ski hosts are on hand to help. They will accompany you on the transfer from the airport to resort, answering any ski questions you might have. Thereafter, they'll guide you on the slopes finding the best snow conditions, the shortest lift queues and the best lunch stops - with a table reserved in advance.

Ski hosting is available 5 days of the week. There are three ski hosting groups for you to join, each split according to level of ability and speed. You can join the group for leisurely, intermediate or advanced skiers for half of the day or the whole day, or switch groups whenever you wish. It's up to you.

Ski hosting groups meet after breakfast at 9am and all groups stop for lunch at the same restaurant, giving you the chance to catch up with friends, family and fellow guests. Choose to continue in the afternoon with the group or take time out to do your own thing. At the end of the day our hosts will accompany you back to the hotel for a well deserved cup of tea.

Our hosts are advanced skiers and know the resort intimately, but they are not instructors or accredited mountain guides. If you are a beginner the we can assist you in arranging lessons with the local ski school.

Childcare
The crèche at the Berangere is large and bright, and it goes without saying filled to the brim with toys and games. Our fully qualified British nannies have a schedule of activities both indoors and outdoors for all age groups and their endless enthusiasm ensures a fun and happy holiday for all our younger guests.
We operate 4 children's clubs from 9am to 5:30pm daily over 6 days of the week:

Baby Club (4 to 11 months)
Your keyworker nanny will adopt your routine for all feeds and naps alongside fun play throughout the day. Lunch and High Tea included. Cost @ £285 per week

Toddler Club (1 to 2 years)
Where possible we try to make sure your child has the same nanny throughout the week. We will adopt your daily routine of sleeps and feeds and entertain children with a balanced programme of stimulating play. Supervised lunch and High Tea are included. Cost @ £285 per week

Mini Club (3 to 5 years)
Fun, fun, fun is the name of the game in the Mini Club. Outdoor play includes sledging and snowman building, and indoors we face paint and play games. Supervised Lunch and High Tea are included. Cost @ £180 per week

Kidz Club (6 to 12 years)
It's all about action and having fun in the Kidz Club. If your children are booked into morning or afternoon ski lessons, and booked into the Kidz Club then our nannies will drop off and collect from ski school. Supervised lunch and high tea are included. Please note Kids Club runs from 9am to 6.30pm Mon-Fri and until 1pm on Saturdays. Cost @ £155 per week

The hotel crèche is fully equipped with all essentials such as cots, potties, bottle sterilisers and fridge. There is also a 24 hour kitchen facility for any late night feeds.

Our evening drop in crèche is open from 7:30 - 11.00pm allowing you to relax over dinner whilst we look after the children.

Babysitting is available at an extra charge but subject to availability.
